We’re a creative studio that values quality over quantity and building strong client and partner relationships.

As artists and designers, we geek out on research and technique. Our love for making distinctive and memorable pieces sets our creative process apart.

As art professionals in the broader sense, we’ve been around the block and know how to cross our t’s and dot our i’s when it comes to project management.  Our experience in commercial art consulting gives us a unique edge in delivering a project that exceeds your expectations on all fronts.

When you hire GLAM DUSTY to create and install fine art, each project is designed with love, skill, and a knack for sharing your voice.

GLAM DUSTY’s namesake was born out of the desire to blend the old with the new; to bring an element of sophistication and glamour to a space while also paying homage to its history and roots.

Katie Todaro

founder, artist, and lead designer of GLAM DUSTY studios

Katie grew up outside of Boston, where she graduated with a BFA from UMass Amherst before venturing out west to design for a premier Seattle-based commercial art consulting company in 2015. Katie led a team of designers, providing guidance, support, and art direction for custom projects and licensed imagery in the company’s extensive collection of fine art prints. Katie oversaw digital design on large-scale projects with art budgets anywhere from $10,000 to $400,000+ for clients including Avalon Bay Properties, Hilton Hotels, Google, American Campus, Disney, and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, to name just a few.

For years, Katie dreamed of starting her own art studio, and, after over five years in the industry executing all kinds of complex, high-profile projects, Katie knew it was time. She founded GLAM DUSTY with the ambition to drive the artwork creation from her distinct style and perspective, often characterized by layering and abstracting textures, photographs and other found imagery.

Part of what sets Katie’s aesthetic apart is the use of historical photos, vintage posters, and other ephemera to tell a story and bring a layered richness to contemporary art.

We invite you to explore and hope for the opportunity to help you tell your story through the power of design.

“Designing artwork that makes you feel something is always worthwhile. It’s a beautiful tool in kick-starting dialogues and fortifying narratives. We want to contribute to the ever-evolving art world by looking beyond the obvious and being bold. GLAM DUSTY’s originality of design and caliber of craft exemplifies work that withstands the test of time.”
